We are looking for a talented and experienced Linux Engineer to join our IT team. The Linux Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based systems, ensuring the highest levels of stability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Administer AIX systems and support a range of Linux infrastructure operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues at an enterprise level, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining system health.
• Monitor systems, manage SSL certificates, and configure external DNS records to ensure smooth web hosting operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support virtual server environments, networking, and security policies.
• Collaborate using the Agile framework, utilizing project management tools such as Jira to deliver projects on time.
• Utilize programming or scripting languages to automate tasks, improve system efficiency, and perform regular maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Linux infrastructure.
• Experience in administering AIX systems is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, providing enterprise-level support and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtual servers, monitoring tools, security policies, and protocols.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (such as Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation and system management tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to system management and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of SSL certificates, external DNS records, and web hosting technologies.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Or, 5+ years of proven experience in IT and Linux system administration.
