We are seeking an experienced offshore Test Lead to support our client’s Payroll Transformation project. This role will encompass the entire testing process, from drafting test plans and cases to maintaining comprehensive documentation and coordinating with development and Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payroll platforms such as ADP GlobalView, Celergo, or similar applications.

Key Responsibilities

Test Case Design

• Design, review, and execute test cases tailored to application requirements.
• Develop and draft comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Coordination and Documentation

• Utilize ServiceNow to maintain test cases and status reports.
• Ensure thorough documentation from test case creation through error resolution.

Test Coverage

• Collaborate with developers and Scrum Masters to ensure the developed code and configurations are ready for testing.
• Ensure all required features, functions, and user interfaces are adequately tested.

Troubleshooting

• Lead the troubleshooting process for any issues that arise during software testing.
• Track fixes and provide status updates on errors.

Issue Reporting

• Maintain effective communication with developers and stakeholders, reporting issues promptly.
• Ensure that errors are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Lead with ownership of the full testing process, including creation, documentation, testing, execution, error identification, and reporting.
• 8-10 years of experience in a software QA/software development environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Test Lead.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (10 years of software development experience can substitute for a degree).
