Gartner is seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Lead/Architect to spearhead project leadership for Product Delivery. In this role, you will drive the integration of new technologies, enhance automation capabilities, and lead quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovation & Integration. Drive the integration of new technologies and enhance test automation architecture.
- Leadership & Strategy. Provide long-term technology leadership for enhancing test automation capabilities at an organizational level.
- Process Improvement. Identify and address test process issues, developing best practices and lessons learned.
- Review & Enhancement. Continuously review products, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration. Manage and expand relationships with QA partners and work with technical leaders to understand new product requirements.
- Test Design & Execution. Design, plan, and execute tests, manage testing activities, and use automation frameworks and tools to meet project goals.
- Mentoring. Mentor and coach QA team members to foster a high-performing team.
- Governance. Provide process guidance and governance related to software testing.
What You’ll Need
- Experience. 6 to 8 years overall, with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Automation Expertise. 5 to 6 years of experience in automating QA, designing automation platforms, and writing automated tests using Java and Selenium.
- Testing Skills. Experience in web and mobile testing (iOS, Android, Windows), automation frameworks, and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.
- Tool Proficiency. Fluent in Selenium and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Scrum & Agile. Experience with estimation, prioritization, and planning/testing activities in a Scrum environment.
- Tracking Systems. Proficiency in JIRA for tracking test cases, code, and requirements.
- Microservices. Hands-on experience in strategizing, automating, and validating products/services based on microservices architecture.
