Team Role

As a member of the Strategic Finance team, you'll be instrumental in scaling financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities. Collaborating across various business units, you'll drive financial planning and analysis, analyze key performance indicators, lead strategic initiatives, and manage vendor negotiations. Your role will be pivotal in empowering decision-makers with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Provide finance support to business teams, driving financial planning and analysis.
• Analyze key KPIs, identify strategic initiatives to enhance financial performance.
• Prepare monthly MIS and P&L reports, forecast and plan annual operating budgets.
• Lead vendor negotiations on crucial contracts.
• Act as a liaison between finance and business units, owning the business line P&L.
• Define, measure, and improve operating and financial metrics in collaboration with business teams.
• Drive ROI-focused decision-making, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead execution.
• Provide regular updates to management on actuals and forecasts.
• Serve as a source of truth for financial metrics and performance drivers.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and data-driven decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in business finance, strategic finance, or FP&A, preferably in transaction-heavy industries.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• MBA is a plus.
