R1 RCM India is seeking a highly skilled IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Lead Staff Engineer to join our IT Security Team. This role focuses on automating user access reviews and ensuring audit compliance, with additional IT GRC responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of access control, compliance requirements, and automation. You will be responsible for managing user access review processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

User Access Review Automation

• Design, implement, and manage automated solutions for user access reviews.
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes to streamline access review workflows.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate access review solutions with existing systems.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of automated access review processes.

Audit Compliance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX, SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and compliance reviews.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to access control policies and procedures.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in user access review automation and audit compliance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of access control principles, regulatory standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java).
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) systems and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
