As a designer at Cornerstone, you will play a pivotal role in creating a compelling vision for new features and ensuring the meticulous execution of every detail in our products. Key Responsibilities

1. User-Centric Design. Solve user problems by defining components and patterns that enhance user experience.
2. Design Vision & Strategy. Drive the design vision and strategy for your product area, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams, representing design throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Quality Assurance. Ensure the quality of the final product execution, maintaining high design standards.
5. Mentorship. Mentor junior designers while also seeking mentorship from senior design leaders.
6. Mobile-First Design. Contribute to the future of Cornerstone by designing mobile-first products that resonate with users.

Qualifications

You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have

1. Experience. 8+ years of product design experience, focusing on mobile and web products.
2. Portfolio. An outstanding portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, interaction design, visual design, and ideation.
3. Collaborative Mindset. Proven experience working with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
4. Strategic Partnership. Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop strategies and rationales for features.
5. Prototyping Skills. Proficient in prototyping to explore and convey design solutions effectively.
6. User-Centered Design Beliefs. Strong belief in user-centered design principles.
7. Independent Problem Solver. Ability to work independently to troubleshoot technical and process-related issues.
8. High-Pressure Adaptability. A go-getter who thrives in high-pressure environments with stellar time management skills.
9. Communication Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
