We are seeking a skilled Data Testing Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with product managers and developers to ensure the quality and reliability of our data systems. Your expertise in data testing and automation will be critical in driving the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and design specifications.
• Document detailed functional and integration test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Coordinate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders on test case reviews, identifying missing and complex test case scenarios.
• Execute tests, publish test reports, and facilitate communication with product and program stakeholders.
• Analyze server logs and database details to provide relevant insights when identifying and troubleshooting bugs.
• Track quality metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts to maintain high-quality standards.
• Design and develop a test automation framework to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Create mocks/stubs to test the functionality of components in isolation, ensuring robust and reliable testing.

Qualifications Required

1. Experience. 6+ years in data testing with a strong focus on quality assurance processes.
2. Technical Skills
   1. Proficiency in Python, capable of writing efficient, modular, and maintainable code.
   2. Solid understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and pub-sub technologies.
   3. Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems, particularly Azure, including services like Azure Storage, Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Databases.
   4. Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD practices.
3. Quality Assurance Expertise. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Communication Skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans.
5. Problem-Solving Skills. Outstanding troubleshooting and debugging skills to effectively address issues as they arise.
