The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in Mainframe technologies and should be well-versed in both development and support roles. Key Responsibilities

Mainframe Development and Support

• Serve as a Mainframe Developer, taking ownership of assigned applications and projects.
• Act as a point of contact for system maintenance and application support tasks.
• Ensure all development and support activities are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

Requirement Gathering and Solution Delivery

• Work closely with business teams to understand functional and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into efficient and scalable IT solutions.

Process Adherence

• Strictly adhere to the organization's IT processes, guidelines, and security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with security standards throughout the development and maintenance lifecycle.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Lead system maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations of assigned applications.

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• IMS DB/DC (Mandatory). Expertise in IMS Database and Data Communication is a strict requirement.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Strong understanding of mainframe tools and frameworks.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with tools like IBM Debug Tool, CA7, QMF, SPUFI, and Selcopy.
• Knowledge of CICS is an added advantage.
