Key Responsibilities

1. Java Development. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
2. Web Development. Build responsive web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of functionality and performance.
3. API Development. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless interaction between various services and systems.
4. Database Management. Work with DB2 and other database technologies to manage and manipulate data efficiently.
5. Testing. Utilize TestNG/JUnit and Selenium for effective testing of applications to ensure robustness and reliability.
6. Collaboration. Work effectively within a team, participating in code reviews, functional analysis, and team meetings. Demonstrate strong communication skills to convey technical concepts and solutions.

Qualifications

•  5-12 years of hands-on development experience with Java microservices, Java/J2EE, and associated technologies.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Knowledge and practical experience with RESTful APIs, DB2, GitHub, TestNG/JUnit, and Selenium.
• Strong understanding of responsive web development techniques and best practices.
•  Good functional analysis skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•  Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
