We are looking for a skilled Java API Developer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of APIs, ensuring high-quality standards and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, code, and deploy Java-based APIs using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Conduct peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
• Write and execute JUnit test cases to ensure robust application performance.
• Utilize SonarQube for code quality analysis and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Java (1.8 and above) and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Bitbucket.
• Understanding of API security best practices.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit).

Desired Skill Sets

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with Swagger for API documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bamboo.
• Understanding of code quality tools like SonarQube.
