As an Intermediate Java Developer at Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers, you will be instrumental in designing and developing microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and application teams to understand operational objectives and system integration needs. Your role will involve.

• Designing and developing microservices/APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, and application teams to understand system integration points and potential risks.
• Working with Functional Designers and Developers to find optimal solutions.
• Producing detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Assisting in threat assessments and ensuring security awareness in solutions.

Basic Qualifications. To qualify for this role, you should have.

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Extensive experience with Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong database experience with Oracle, SQL Server.
• Proficiency working with different data formats such as XML, JSON.
• Advanced knowledge of technical environments, standards, processes, programming languages, and operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Microservices, Maven, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, RESTful API, Data Structures.
• 5+ years of API knowledge and development.
• Agile experience, including working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with 3-tier, n-tier, cloud computing, microservices architectures, and SOA.
• Good understanding of integration architectures and experience supporting complex integration projects.
• Excellent client management skills.
• Experience with data modeling would be an asset.

Additional Requirements

• This role will involve attending client sites at least 2 days per week in Toronto, ON.
