Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in interaction design within product design or UX design.
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• 1 year of experience leading design projects.
• Experience in designing enterprise-scale software products.

• Google's UX team includes designers, researchers, writers, strategists, program managers, and developers, all dedicated to understanding user attitudes and behaviors. This insight drives industry-leading product designs that deliver value for users and Google's business.

Responsibilities

1. Collaboration. Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and propose innovative solutions.
2. UX Solutions. Design intuitive solutions that enhance user experiences for deploying, maintaining, and managing applications across Google Cloud environments.
3. Cloud Design System. Utilize Google’s Cloud design system frameworks to simplify service development and deployment, ensuring a seamless user experience.
4. Brand Identity. Create cohesive user experiences that reinforce Google Cloud’s unified brand identity across products.
5. Research Integration. Collaborate with UX researchers to develop data-driven user narratives, informing strategic design decisions.
