As a Google Interaction Designer, you'll be tasked with taking on complex tasks and making them intuitive and easy to use for billions of people worldwide. From creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes, you'll envision how users will experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired and refined.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
- 1 year of experience leading design projects.
- Experience in designing complex, enterprise-scale software products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative solutions.
- Craft intuitive and elegant UX solutions to help internal and external service producers deploy, maintain, and manage their applications across Google Cloud environments.
- Simplify service development and deployment by leveraging Google’s Cloud design system frameworks.
- Drive a cohesive and connected user experience across Google Cloud products.
- Partner with UX researchers to develop data-driven user narratives and build a strong strategic foundation for design decisions.
