Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Identity Migration Consultant to join our specialized cloud-based delivery team. The role involves managing identity migrations for the Active Directory Migration Service (ADMS) program, a solution designed to modernize and optimize identity platforms efficiently. The consultant will work closely with project teams and customers, providing expertise and leadership to ensure successful migrations and optimize the ADMS solution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Solution Architects and Pursuit Leads, to understand business requirements and contribute technical insights to shape proposals and statements of work (SOW).
  • Provide input on staffing and skill requirements for delivery to resource deployment and project management teams.
  • Follow capacity processes and maintain up-to-date tools and skills.
  • Lead meetings with customers to understand their needs and map these to Microsoft technology solutions.
  • Participate in project planning, develop project documents, and identify risks and dependencies.
  • Communicate the business value of solutions to customers and manage technical and business risks.
  • Implement solutions, manage workstreams, and align solutions with architectural intent.
  • Proactively manage executive-level relationships, addressing satisfaction drivers and recovery actions.
  • Act as an ambassador for intellectual property (IP) by leveraging and modifying existing IP or creating repeatable content.
  • Provide feedback on IP for continuous improvement and collaborate with portfolio teams.
  • Identify opportunities to expand or accelerate cloud and Microsoft technology adoption.
  • Articulate value propositions and develop new offerings to drive innovation and digital transformation.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, obtain relevant certifications, and conduct training sessions.
  • Mentor team members and act as a technical advisor, providing thought leadership and strategic insights.
  • Complete operational tasks and ensure compliance with Microsoft policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example and guide team members in operational tasks and compliance.
  • Embody Microsoft's culture and values, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field, with 6+ years of leadership experience in a relevant area.
  • Alternatively, equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience in a relevant field.
  • Technical certifications in domain/service lines (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
  • Delivery management certifications (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
