Uplers is seeking an experienced WordPress Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining WordPress websites, focusing on both front-end and back-end development. Your responsibilities will include creating custom themes and plugins, integrating and migrating websites, and ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites using industry best practices.
• Design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific needs.
• Perform website integrations and migrations smoothly and efficiently.
• Optimize website performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Conduct thorough website testing and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements proactively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, APIs, and popular plugins (e.g., WPML, WooCommerce).
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile design principles.
• Previous work with e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce, is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git and understanding of SEO principles.
