Cloud First - Software Engineering is a high-performance team focused on client adoption of disruptive technologies, technology architecture, and providing specialized skills in integration, custom software engineering, testing, application modernization, agile methodologies, and more. We tackle the most complex projects, including work in open web platforms, DevOps environments, intelligent computing, and architectural enhancements.

Work You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and configure applications to meet business processes and application requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and application teams to understand operational objectives and system integration needs.
  • Identify integration points between different systems and proactively highlight potential delivery risks.
  • Collaborate with Functional Designers and Developers to identify optimal solutions.
  • Produce detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to threat assessments and ensure security awareness in all phases of solution development.

Basic Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development, proficient in Angular/React, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Kafka.
  • Extensive experience in developing complex, responsive, accessible, and efficient frontend applications using Angular 14, RXjs, Micro Front End, NgRx, Angular Material UI, and NodeJs.
  • Strong understanding of Java programming language and Spring/Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and applying microservices architecture principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, and Bitbucket.
  • Ability to design, build, and configure applications tailored to specific business processes and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software solutions that support business processes and objectives.
  • Write clean, maintainable code adhering to project coding standards.
  • Test, debug, and optimize application performance to meet stringent performance and security standards.
  • Perform system analysis and provide technical recommendations for application design and development.

Additional Requirements

This role requires the ability to be on-site at the client's location in Toronto, ON, for at least 2 days per week.
