As a Front-End Developer at Compare Club, you will be playing a crucial role in the ongoing rebranding project. Your main responsibility will be to uplift the company’s web pages, ensuring they align with the new branding guidelines. This will be a significant change for the business, and you’ll be at the heart of this transformation. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a Design System that will set the foundation for consistent UI across the platform.

• Develop high-quality web applications using technologies like CSS, HTML, and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes members from the marketing, UX/UI design, and leadership teams.
• Create user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive and easy to use.
• Ensure that your code is clean, maintainable, and efficient by adhering to best practices.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and troubleshooting any issues, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with your team to meet deadlines and milestones.

Skills and Experience You Need

Must-Have Skills

1. Vue.js. Extensive experience with Vue.js is required. You’ll need to be able to work seamlessly with this framework, contributing to the creation of robust front-end solutions.
2. Client-Side Technologies. You should have a strong grasp of JavaScript/ECMAScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
3. CSS Preprocessors. Experience with CSS3 preprocessors like SASS or LESS is a plus.
4. Testing Frameworks. You should be comfortable using testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library to ensure the quality of your code.
5. Version Control. Familiarity with Git for version control is essential for smooth collaboration and code management.

Preferred Skills

1. Nuxt.js. Experience with Nuxt.js for server-side rendered applications is highly desirable.
2. Node.js. Knowledge of Node.js for server-side development and integration with front-end applications.
3. TypeScript. Familiarity with TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development.
