We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (SE) or Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to join our Product Delivery Group. As part of this team, you will be at the forefront of developing user-facing features for our consumer applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, product management, and engineering, to deliver exceptional user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. You will play a critical role in improving product performance, usability, and cross-platform compatibility.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate and Implement. Work closely with the design and engineering teams to implement high-quality UI components and ensure the seamless integration of front-end functionality.
2. UI Development. Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces for complex web applications, adhering to design specifications and coding best practices.
3. Cross-Browser Compatibility. Ensure that HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work efficiently across multiple browsers and platforms.
4. Performance Optimization. Write efficient, optimized code and apply techniques to improve the performance of web applications.
5. Coding Standards. Maintain clean, readable, and semantic code, following W3C standards and best practices for web development.
6. Problem Solving. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UI performance, cross-browser compatibility, and multilingual support.
7. Collaboration. Actively contribute to the engineering team’s culture, ensuring the continued evolution of high-quality, performant code.
8. Continuous Improvement. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product iteration to improve application performance and enhance user experience.

Skills & Requirements

1. HTML5 & CSS3. Advanced knowledge of modern web development techniques, including responsive design and mobile-first development.
2. JavaScript. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, event binding, and working with APIs.
3. Cross-Browser Compatibility. Ability to ensure applications function well across all browsers and platforms.
4. Semantic Code. Knowledge of writing clean, W3C-compliant, and semantic HTML and CSS.
5. CSS Preprocessors. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, preferably SCSS.
6. Version Control. Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Understanding of page performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and their integration with front-end code.

Experience Levels

1. Software Engineer. Minimum 2.5 years of experience in front-end development.
2. Senior Software Engineer. Minimum 4.5 years of experience in UI and front-end development.
