We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Fabric and Power BI Data Analyst/Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing business intelligence solutions to support our Digital Workplace Transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, integrate various data sources, and automate processes to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Fabric and Business Intelligence Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business needs.
- Create data models, transformations, and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Integration and Automation
- Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources and systems.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data for reporting.
- Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
Documentation and Training
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices for Fabric and Power BI.
- Conduct training sessions to improve end-user and internal team proficiency with Power BI.

Technical Skills Required
Development Capabilities
- Proficiency in Power BI development tools and languages, including DAX.
- Experience in integrating Power BI reports into applications.
- Programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, or PowerShell for Fabric applications (preferred).
Cloud Platforms
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and related services.
- Understanding of Azure Blobs and cloud-based data storage and hosting.
Data Modeling and Analysis
- Strong grasp of data modeling concepts for Power BI and Fabric.
- Knowledge of ETL processes for data integration.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
Performance Optimization
- Skills in optimizing performance for Fabric applications and Power BI reports.
- Experience in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
Problem-Solving
- Strong problem-solving abilities for addressing issues related to Fabric and Power BI.
Communication and Documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to document processes, configurations, and best practices effectively.
- Capability to train end-users and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Power BI Certified Data Analyst Associate Certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with other BI tools and reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of PowerShell and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization.
- Demonstrable experience with continuous integration principles and technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
