As an Engineering Manager in ETL Development at R1 RCM, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust ETL solutions to support large-scale data integration for our centralized data warehouse. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective ETL solutions for data acquisition, ingestion, and processing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategy. Manage a team of ETL developers, providing strategic guidance to ensure their efforts align with organizational goals across multiple functional areas.
2. Solution Design & Delivery. Lead the design, architecture, and development of ETL processes and data integration solutions.
3. ETL Workflow Management. Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using tools like SSIS, Azure Databricks, SparkSQL, or similar platforms.
4. Optimization. Optimize ETL processes for scalability, performance, and reliability to handle large data volumes efficiently.
5. Process Re-engineering. Play a key role in improving business process efficiency by re-engineering and redesigning workflows.
6. Governance. Ensure compliance with company policies and IT governance procedures.
7. Hands-On Technical Work. While managing projects, you’ll also engage in hands-on technical work, ensuring a balance between leadership and technical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12-16 years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Expertise in complex solutions involving SSIS, T-SQL, Azure Databricks, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms, Big Data technologies, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Scala, SparkSQL, and Airflow is preferred.
• Proven ability in data architecture and designing scalable ETL solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with agile methodology.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
