Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in designing and developing applications within the Compliance and Operations Risk big data delivery team in India.
- Manage specific functional areas, including project management and translating business specifications into technical solutions.
- Independently execute projects and tasks delegated within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience.
- GCP professional certification - Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Google BigQuery for data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Spark Core and Hive (preferred).
- Experience with GCP offerings, particularly in building data pipelines (a plus).
- Knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce, and HBase.
- UNIX shell scripting experience (desired).
- Creative problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
