Key Responsibilities
- Drive Innovation. Lead user story analysis, software application design, development, and testing, including automation tools.
- Technical Ownership. Manage all aspects of software development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
- Hands-On Development. Engage in coding, API specifications, proof of concepts, and code reviews within agile sprints.
- Adopt Best Practices. Promote consistent development standards and implement common components and tools.
- Integration and Collaboration. Develop deep insights into system integrations and collaborate with technical product managers on feature blueprints.
Functional Skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in software configuration, agile methodologies, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with high availability application design and distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
- Expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, Micro-services, Kafka, and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with conversational interfaces, chatbots, machine learning, and data analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and release management tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins).
