Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive Innovation. Lead user story analysis, software application design, development, and testing, including automation tools.
  2. Technical Ownership. Manage all aspects of software development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
  3. Hands-On Development. Engage in coding, API specifications, proof of concepts, and code reviews within agile sprints.
  4. Adopt Best Practices. Promote consistent development standards and implement common components and tools.
  5. Integration and Collaboration. Develop deep insights into system integrations and collaborate with technical product managers on feature blueprints.

Functional Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in software configuration, agile methodologies, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with high availability application design and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • Expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, Micro-services, Kafka, and relational/NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with conversational interfaces, chatbots, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and release management tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins).
