As a Software Engineer specializing in .Net Full Stack development at S&P Global Market Intelligence, you will be part of a team that sets the industry standard in web-based platforms, dedicated to automating the lifecycle of trades in the global loan markets. You will play a critical role in developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that enhance the efficiency and transparency of loan trade settlements.

Responsibilities

1. Application Development. Design and code complex programs.
2. Business Analysis. Evaluate complex business requirements and processes.
3. Production Support. Provide support for several mission-critical systems.
4. Needs Assessment. Conduct analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
5. Project Management. Take initiative and work independently on certain projects, while contributing to a larger team on others.

What We’re Looking For

1. Education. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience. 4+ years in software development.

Technical Skills

• Full project lifecycle experience with C#, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, SSRS
• RESTful services, Windows Services
• Data access frameworks like Entity Framework, ADO.NET, etc.
• SSO (OAuth2)
• Design patterns such as SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, and .NET Core
• Test-driven environment experience with a solid understanding of functional and non-functional unit tests.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the financial sector, particularly in Loans/Fixed Income.
• AWS and Microservices.
