As a DevOps Engineer at BOLD, you will be crucial in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on Azure. You’ll ensure that our designs meet product team needs while adhering to industry best practices like fault tolerance and observability. Your role will support the "Automate Everything" philosophy, enhance cloud infrastructure, and manage server and platform issues effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Automation Philosophy. Embrace and uphold the "Automate Everything" approach within the team.
2. Cloud Infrastructure. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for hosting applications in development and production environments.
3. Collaboration. Work with teams across products and platforms to ensure the reliability of cloud services and uninterrupted customer access.
4. Issue Management. Manage and troubleshoot server and platform issues effectively.
5. Performance Monitoring. Analyze and monitor cloud-based infrastructure performance, applications, and shared resources.

Required Skills

1. Azure Cloud. Proficiency in utilizing DevOps tools within the Azure Cloud environment.
2. Cloud Automation. Experience with Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD for cloud automation.
3. Containerization. Skilled in Kubernetes cluster administration and application containerization.
4. Monitoring Tools. Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and Grafana.
5. Scripting. Strong experience in writing PowerShell and Bash scripts.
6. Log Management. Familiarity with EFK log management solutions.
7. Agile Methodology. Proficiency in working with agile methodologies.
8. Communication. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to mentor team members.
9. Analytical Skills. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Disaster Recovery. Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies for building highly available applications.
• Web Server Administration. Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and networking.
• Additional Scripting. Hands-on scripting proficiency in GoLang or Python.
• DNS Management. Experience in DNS management.
