Job Description

As the Engagement Manager in gTech Ads, you will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring they are equipped with the right tools, support, and guidance to succeed with Google Ads. You will work closely with internal teams to provide consultative services and tailored solutions that help clients grow and succeed using Google’s advertising products. Your role will focus on creating and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing customized support to drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, demonstrating how Google’s advertising products and technology can solve their business problems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal Google teams and client-side stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment of goals.
  • Understand clients’ annual and quarterly business goals in collaboration with Sales, and develop bespoke project plans that address client needs.
  • Design and implement service plans that leverage Google’s resources, including technical support, media campaigns, and customer service, to drive growth and meet client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Google’s internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering) to create solutions that enhance client satisfaction and improve the product experience.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements, ensuring Google’s services meet the evolving needs of clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that all needs are met, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, discovery conversations, and project debriefs to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Navigate complex business problems, offering creative, data-driven solutions to enhance client outcomes and improve ROI.
  • Analyze data and metrics to drive decisions, and ensure client goals are aligned with the right products and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in project/program management, consulting, or a client-facing role.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage internal and external stakeholder networks, navigating both Google and client-side teams to deliver on project objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage cross-functional teams to achieve complex goals.
  • Excellent technical project management skills, enabling coordination across multiple teams and departments to deliver successful outcomes.
