Job Description

As a Java DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team, delivering high-quality software solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies. We follow Agile and Lean principles to architect, design, and develop innovative solutions that add significant value to our corporate actions business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a highly scalable platform, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.
  • Manage infrastructure on VMware and maintain software states using Puppet Enterprise.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Define and enhance development, testing, release, and support processes for DevOps operations.
  • Provide operational support for cloud infrastructure, including incident response and maintenance.
  • Monitor processes throughout their lifecycle for adherence to best practices, updating or creating new processes as needed.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, performing continuous vulnerability assessments and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage disaster recovery plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools and technologies, including GitHub, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, and Terraform.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Solid programming skills in Java and Python.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and implementation of security measures in the software development lifecycle.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
