We are seeking a Software Product Manager who is ready to make a purposeful impact by designing, developing, and managing software products from conception to delivery. This role is central to our product development lifecycle, bridging user needs with engineering execution to deliver exceptional software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis. Understand overall market trends, competitors, and emerging open-source technologies to inform product strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and translate these into actionable product specifications.
- Feature Development. Work with software engineering teams to transform user requirements into executable feature items, ensuring timely and efficient product improvements.
- Advocacy. Serve as a champion for stakeholders throughout the specification and development stages, ensuring their needs are met.
Knowledge & Skills
- Technical Expertise. Possess strong technical knowledge of complex software systems, including enterprise solutions, middleware, firmware, and embedded systems.
- Analytical Skills. Adept at collecting and synthesizing input from diverse sources, including customers, sales teams, engineering, marketing, and competitive analysis.
- Experience. Significant experience in software development, systems engineering, or software product management, with a demonstrated ability to navigate rapid development cycles.
- Communication Proficiency. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, serving as a translator between the two.
- Technical Proficiency. Expertise in Python and DevOps technologies, including Azure DevOps Pipeline, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrated competence.
- Typically, 3-7 years of relevant experience in software product management or related roles.
Scope & Impact
Your decisions and actions will impact multiple departments and could have significant downstream effects. You will advise internal teams, partners, and customers on market needs and collaborate closely with architects and technology leads to drive successful outcomes.
Complexity
The role involves moderate complexity, including interaction with senior management and frequent cross-functional collaboration. You will apply your developed subject matter knowledge to address both common and complex business challenges and may lead project teams to facilitate information sharing and decision-making.
