We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong .NET background to join our team. This role involves building, packaging, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications developed with .NET and Silverlight, using SQL Server 2012 Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have experience with deployment on Windows Server and a deep understanding of network protocols, Windows services, and application deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Silverlight applications.
• Use InstallShield 2012 LE for deployment packaging.
• Create and manage MSI installers for application deployment.
• Implement batch processing scripts for automation.
• Deploy ASP.NET and Silverlight applications on Windows Server 2008/12 R2 Enterprise and above.
• Manage deployment and configuration of WCF applications.
• Deploy and manage SQL Server 2012+ patches.
• Configure and maintain Internet Information Services (IIS) for web hosting.
• Handle FTP/File maintenance and utilities for deployment.
• Utilize log collection tools (e.g., LogRhythm) and file integrity monitoring (e.g., Tripwire).
• Troubleshoot issues related to MSMQ, Windows services, and network protocols (TCP/IP, Sockets).
• Knowledge of data encryption tools (e.g., Protegrity) and 2-factor authentication.
• Manage and configure secure communications and SSL certificates.
• Configure and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (good to have).

Technical Expertise

1. .NET & Silverlight. Extensive experience with deployment and management.
2. InstallShield. Proficiency in using InstallShield 2012 LE for deployment packaging.
3. Windows Server. Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise and higher.
4. IIS Management. Proficient in managing Internet Information Services (IIS).
5. SQL Server. Experience with SQL Server 2012+ and database patch management.
6. Network Protocols. Knowledge of TCP/IP, Sockets, MSMQ, and Windows services.
7. Tools. Familiarity with XML/XSL, data encryption tools (Protegrity), file integrity monitoring (Tripwire), and log collection tools (LogRhythm).
