Job Description

IGT Solutions is seeking a skilled Manual Tester with a strong focus on Database Testing and API Testing to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and on-site work as needed. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital solutions for global and innovative brands across Travel and High Growth Tech industries.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual testing with an emphasis on Database Testing and API Testing.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Utilize Automation Testing tools like Selenium WebDriver to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Scripting proficiency in a programming language to support Automation Testing efforts.
  • Apply strong SQL skills and expertise in managing database systems.
  • Test RESTful APIs and web services to ensure robust functionality.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to optimize testing processes.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and deliver high-quality test documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, specializing in Database Testing and API Testing.
  • Proficiency in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and scripting in a programming language.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
  • Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
