IGT Solutions is seeking a skilled Manual Tester with a strong focus on Database Testing and API Testing to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and on-site work as needed. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital solutions for global and innovative brands across Travel and High Growth Tech industries.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing with an emphasis on Database Testing and API Testing.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Utilize Automation Testing tools like Selenium WebDriver to enhance testing efficiency.
- Scripting proficiency in a programming language to support Automation Testing efforts.
- Apply strong SQL skills and expertise in managing database systems.
- Test RESTful APIs and web services to ensure robust functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to optimize testing processes.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and deliver high-quality test documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, specializing in Database Testing and API Testing.
- Proficiency in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and scripting in a programming language.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with testing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
