In this role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, and managing databases to ensure optimal performance and security. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing and troubleshooting database issues, driving automation, and monitoring performance to meet high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Database Management. Oversee database changes and redesigns to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Troubleshooting. Analyze and resolve database issues, configuring the database as needed.
- Automation. Implement and drive automation of database code to streamline operations.
- Performance Monitoring. Continuously monitor database performance, ensuring high levels of security and speed.
Qualifications
- Experience. Minimum of 4+ years of experience with Vertica DBA (mandatory).
- Education. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
- Skills. Proven expertise in SQL Servers, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective decision-making abilities.
