As a Data Scientist with Gartner, you will have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI and machine learning innovation, where you'll be responsible for driving initiatives that bring significant impact to the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and Implement Large Language Model (LLM) Based Agents. Build advanced LLM-based agents capable of synthesizing complex information, integrating it into business workflows, and taking critical actions seamlessly.
- Generative AI for Actionable Insights. Leverage generative AI techniques to extract valuable insights from unstructured data, such as call transcripts and emails, and transform this data into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Predict Client Behavior and Deliver Value. Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to predict client interest based on their digital footprint and create recommendations that drive value.
- Customer Retention and Churn Prediction. Develop predictive models to identify at-risk clients and proactively propose solutions to improve retention rates.
- Data Processing and Feature Engineering. Build tools to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Engineer the necessary features and signals required for machine learning models.
- Collaboration and Innovation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop solutions that are not only effective but also innovative, optimizing current processes and solving business challenges in new ways.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Educational Background. A BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Information Retrieval is a plus.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience applying data science methodologies to live initiatives or software development projects.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python programming, statistical analysis, and working with large datasets.
- At least 2 years of experience in areas such as Prompt Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Mining, NLP, and Information Retrieval.
- Proficiency in building recommendation systems and working with user behavior models.
Technical Expertise
- Experience working with large datasets and using machine learning and statistical techniques to extract insights.
- Proficiency in designing and engineering features for machine learning models.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and NLP models, including but not limited to LLMs.
- Experience in data mining techniques and applying them to real-world business problems.
