As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution of Gartner's data strategy by developing and delivering cloud-based products, scalable data solutions, and automation tools. Your work will influence high-impact business processes, enabling data-driven decision-making through user-friendly applications and seamless integrations.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Develop Data Products. Build high-performance, scalable data solutions to meet business needs and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Architect Cloud-Based Systems. Participate in the architecture and implementation of optimized data products and services using Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
- Integrate Data Across Sources. Integrate data from various on-premises and external sources, including APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Collaboration & Problem-Solving. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into intuitive, front-end applications.
- Automation & Innovation. Automate existing processes, streamline workflows, and contribute innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and productivity.
What You’ll Need
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable cloud-based products, with expertise in Python and Azure (Databricks, App Service, Batch Jobs) or AWS.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python frameworks like PySpark, FastAPI, Pandas, and Numpy.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle).
- Familiarity with data structure and design (OOPs concepts, architecture, and scaling).
- Experience integrating APIs to build cloud products and services.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with machine learning models and recommendation systems.
- Understanding of data science techniques and methodologies.
