Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate proactively with peers across the organization to understand cross-dependencies and foster shared problem-solving.
• Continuously develop your technical skills and share knowledge with your team to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Work with various technologies to understand their relationships within applications and databases.
• Design and operate highly available, distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large datasets.
• Develop and test complex software applications to ensure they meet design requirements.
• Apply database design principles to effectively solve data requirements.
• Leverage software frameworks to streamline code development.
• Identify opportunities for policy and process improvements to increase organizational efficiency.
• Recommend advancements and innovations in technologies related to data engineering, cloud data platforms, enterprise information management, and data science.

Who You Are

• You hold a master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in data pipelining and are proficient in high-level programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• You are skilled in data processing technologies like Spark, Spark Streaming, Spark SQL, or Map/Reduce.
• You have experience building robust and scalable data pipelines using various tools and programming languages.
• You are knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• You possess the ability to independently learn new technologies and develop solutions based on them.
• You are familiar with continuous delivery, automated deployments, and related engineering practices.
