Join the Office Platform team at Microsoft as a Data Engineer, where you'll contribute to building the M365 developer program. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to document data requirements, evaluate feasibility, and propose data metrics.
  • Contributing to data model design, drafting design specification documents, and improving data schemas.
  • Implementing code to extract raw data, perform data validation, and ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Applying standard operations to transform raw data, wrangle and analyze data, and merge data into distributed systems.
  • Designing and maintaining data tools for transforming, managing, and accessing data.
  • Following performance monitoring protocols, troubleshooting data issues, and documenting insights.
  • Ensuring compliance with data modeling procedures, laws, and policies.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have the following experiences and skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in C#/Java and excellent Data Engineering skills.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum.
