As part of Gartner's Services Service Analytics & Productivity team, you will work closely with services teams to enhance their productivity in client engagements. This role involves analyzing large datasets to uncover insights and strategies that drive higher client retention. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact analytics team, blending automation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management to deliver significant business outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Business Intelligence Development. Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI products requiring minimal maintenance. Ensure these products are stable and automated, reducing the need for manual intervention.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with stakeholders to understand automation needs and define success metrics clearly.
3. Dashboard Creation. Develop fully automated dashboards using Python, Databricks, and Power BI to streamline data visualization and reporting.
4. Process Automation. Automate recurring manual processes and deliverables, such as PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports, to improve efficiency.
5. User-Focused Enhancements. Collaborate internally to implement enhancements that drive user adoption of existing BI products.
6. Project Lifecycle Adherence. Follow best practices for BI projects, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live stages.
7. Quality and Timeliness. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all assignments meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Professional Experience. At least 1 year of experience with dashboards and data visualization using Power BI.
3. Data Visualization Expertise. Strong understanding of data visualization strategies to effectively tell stories through dashboards.
4. Power BI Skills. Proficiency in Power BI, including data ingestion, visuals, data modeling, gateway, dataflow, and DataMart.
5. Automation Tools. Experience with Power App and Power Automate.
6. SQL Proficiency. Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
7. Python Knowledge. Deep understanding of Python for automation and data processing tasks.
8. Data Lake and Databricks. Basic knowledge of Data Lake and Databricks technologies for BI solutions.
9. Data Management. Experience in handling and analyzing large volumes of data, including maintaining comprehensive data documentation.
10. Self-Motivation. Highly self-motivated and proactive in exploring new technologies and BI solutions.
11. Organizational Skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
12. Communication Skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
