Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis. Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL to extract meaningful insights from various data sources.
2. Collaboration. Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Data Quality. Maintain high standards for data quality through rigorous cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.
4. Insight Communication. Effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation and metadata.
6. Trend Identification. Identify patterns and trends to uncover opportunities for business improvement.
7. Knowledge Sharing. Contribute to the growth of analytics within Gartner Consulting by sharing expertise with teammates.

What You Will Need

1. Experience. 3+ years of experience in data analysis and building complex queries in SQL.
2. Education. Graduate or equivalent qualification in a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
3. Data Modeling. Proven experience with dimensional data models.
4. Technical Skills. Strong foundation in data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL. Experience with cloud-based platforms like Databricks or Snowflake is a plus, as is knowledge of Python and Power BI.
5. Analytical Skills. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for uncovering insights.
6. Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
7. Collaboration. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster strong relationships.
