We are looking for a highly skilled Cypress Automation Tester with a strong background in software quality assurance and a deep understanding of JavaScript-based automation testing. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain advanced test scripts using Cypress to ensure our software products are robust, reliable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to validate web application functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for test automation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing practices.
• Proactively identify, log, and track defects, ensuring issues are effectively resolved to enhance product quality.
• Set up and maintain test environments to support testing activities and streamline the testing process.
• Work closely with development teams to understand application architecture and design and implement effective test strategies.
• Monitor, document, and communicate test results and issues to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and 2+ years in automation testing using Cypress or similar JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• At least 1 year of experience with test environment setup and maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern test automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and reporting for various stages of software development.
• Knowledge of API testing and experience with RESTful services testing is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
