Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor IT Security. Oversee key security measures, including SIEM, malware detection, vulnerability management, patching, and incident response across endpoints, networks, cloud, and server infrastructure.
  2. Layered Security Implementation. Develop and maintain a layered security posture to mitigate threats effectively across different environments.
  3. Incident Response & Handling. Lead the team in detecting, investigating, and responding to security breaches, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Vulnerability Scanning & Remediation. Conduct regular scans, generate detailed reports, and develop action plans for remediation.
  5. Security Leadership. Manage and lead a team of IT Security Analysts, providing guidance and strategy on how to handle current threats and predict future risks.
  6. Compensating Controls. Implement compensating controls where necessary to ensure security standards are upheld even in the absence of desired controls.
  7. Reporting & Communication. Prepare and present monthly security reports for management review, and recommend security enhancements to IT management.
  8. Collaboration. Work closely with other infrastructure teams, including network, cloud operations, endpoints, and VDI, to maintain a cohesive and secure environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  1. Educational Background. BTech in a relevant field.
  2. Experience. 10-15 years of experience in IT security, preferably in the financial services industry.
  3. Certifications. Possessing certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CEH is a strong advantage.
  4. Soft Skills. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead teams and communicate complex security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
