Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven R&D Engineer to join our Tessent team, contributing to the research and development of our Design-for-Test (DFT) software products. In this role, you'll be part of a global team of passionate engineers dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions to our clients. You'll work with experts in software development, quality assurance, customer support, and product marketing, utilizing cutting-edge technologies in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an international team to develop and enhance DFT software products.
  • Design and implement solutions using C/C++, applying design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to improve software performance.
  • Contribute to the design, verification, and testing of digital circuits.
  • Lead or contribute to projects that add new functionality and features to our products, leveraging your knowledge of HDL languages like Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog.
  • Work across multiple teams (software engineers, customer support, marketing) to craft solutions that meet real-world customer needs.
  • Continuously learn and apply new technologies, including AI/ML, to drive innovation in the product space.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Computer Science (CS) from a top-tier engineering institution.
  • Strong background in C/C++ programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of digital design and testing principles.
  • Familiarity with HDL languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to create sustainable, innovative solutions.
