The Product Catalog Specialist role is a blend of research, writing, data collection, and client management. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed descriptions for various software products, evaluating prospective vendors, and ensuring accurate setup for new software vendor listings.

Key Responsibilities
- Insightful Research. Research, define, and collect features for software products across different industries. Gather unique information about software products, including target market and pricing, and rewrite descriptions in a non-plagiarized format.
- Project Management. Ensure timely completion of assigned projects. Maintain high standards of data quality and product content, and clean data collection for productivity reports.
- Client Management. Evaluate prospective vendors for platform fitment, update vendor login details/descriptions upon request, and exhibit a strong service ethic with robust response rates for all communications.
What You’ll Need
- Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience. 0-1 years of writing experience.
- Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, adaptable to different audiences and delivery mediums.
- Ability to follow style guide instructions diligently.
- Basic understanding of the software domain, including markets, trends, and business drivers across IT and business domains.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Attributes. Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines under pressure.
