This is part of our commitment to contributing to the UAE's goal of employing 75,000 Emiratis in the private sector. We are seeking Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Interns to join our team for a 12-week full-time internship program at our Data Center in Dubai South.

As an intern, you will work in a dynamic environment focused on driving the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks. You will assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network, ensuring overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Patch cabling between equipment.
• Install Fibre and Copper cabling.
• Maintain proper standards for cabling and racks.
• Utilize material handling tools and equipment while adhering to safety regulations.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Comfortable working at heights and from ladders.
• Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 15 kilograms unassisted and participation in group lifts for 16 kilograms or more.

Internship Details

• Full-time position (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks in Summer 2024.
• Onsite work is required on a daily basis.
• Intern schedules typically follow day schedules, Monday-Friday.
• A full-time position as a Data Center Tech may involve day, evening, or weekend shifts and on-call rotations.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing IT Certification or Technical/Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field with a 2025 graduation date.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• UAE National with the family book.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and time management skills.
• Familiarity with environments that prioritize health & safety standards.
• Ability to travel between sites.
