Position. COBOL + ASSEMBLER Developer

Experience Required. 3 to 15 years

Skills Required. COBOL, DB2, ASSEMBLER

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using Assembler, CICS, and COBOL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to mainframe applications promptly.
• Document technical specifications, user manuals, and release notes for developed applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development, with a strong focus on Assembler, CICS, and COBOL.
• Proficient in coding, debugging, and testing mainframe applications.
• Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and core technologies.
• Experience working with DB2 databases is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mainframe support processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
