Job Description

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Presales and Solutions Consultant with a strong background in cloud services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Tier 1/2 Technology Service Providers or major Cloud Services providers. This role involves crafting engaging solutions that leverage AWS, Azure, or GCP features to meet client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design public and hybrid cloud transformation solutions, ensuring high availability and adherence to disaster recovery practices.
  • Produce multi-tier infrastructure architectures that align with client requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Kubernetes, and containers.
  • Leverage experience in migrating to or operating in cloud environments, holding certifications from at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Apply knowledge of data center strategies, outsourcing, disaster recovery, and migration best practices.
  • Utilize strong infrastructure experience, including virtualization technologies, operating systems, platform migrations, data management, and networking.
  • Implement automation and orchestration tools such as Packer, Terraform, and CloudFormation, focusing on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps/CICD pipelines.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of market offerings and analyze, stitch, and customize core portfolio services to meet specific client needs.
  • Understand the vendor and partner landscape for cloud solutions, including Capgemini’s preferred partners.

Primary Skills

  • Lead client engagement and requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs.
  • Create comprehensive solution designs and architecture for cloud services.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demos to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects.
  • Manage RFP/RFI responses and proposal development to drive sales enablement.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to implementation teams.
  • Prepare commercial responses and financial bids to support business objectives.
