As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and managing cutting-edge cloud solutions using OpenStack and OpenShift. Your responsibilities include advising customer teams on best practices, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring robust security across complex environments. At Ericsson, you'll contribute to transforming insights into innovation, enabling customers to navigate IT complexities and seize market opportunities with agility.

What You Will Do

• Hands-on expertise in OpenStack and Linux platforms is essential.
• Administer OpenStack environments, handling tasks such as performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resource management.
• Proficient in Linux Administration for both physical and virtual servers, ensuring efficient operations and seamless upgrades across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, and CentOS systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot network components including TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, routing, DNS, DHCP, and IP Tables.
• Manage hardware through interfaces like iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC.
• Implement robust security measures adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Deep understanding of Linux administration, cloud concepts, network protocols, and automation tools.
• Experience with CEPH storage operations including OSD management.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards, following ITSM guidelines.

You Will Bring

• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python for automating cloud operations.
• Understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing microservices.

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Private Cloud technology.
• Hands-on experience in OpenStack cloud administration and Linux administration.
• Certification in Red Hat OpenStack (RHCSA and RHCE) preferred.
