As a Cloud AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in guiding our strategic customers through their machine learning journey, ensuring they maximize the potential of our Google Cloud ML suite of products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience. At least 4 years of experience in building machine learning solutions and engaging with technical customers.
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in designing cloud enterprise solutions and driving customer projects to successful completion.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C, or C++), with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with recommendation engines, data pipelines, and distributed machine learning.
- Familiarity with data analytics, visualization techniques, and deep learning frameworks.
- Background in software development, professional services, solution engineering, and technical consulting, with a strong capability in architecting and implementing new technology initiatives.
- Understanding of core Data Science techniques and data warehousing concepts, including architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and analytic tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems, and content delivery networks.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, tackling complex machine learning challenges for customers.
- Educate customers on the practical aspects of machine learning systems, including feature extraction, validation, and model management.
- Collaborate with Customers, Partners, and Google Product teams to deliver customized solutions into production.
- Create and disseminate best practices, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code to enhance customer understanding.
- Travel up to 30% for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite solution delivery.
