As a Cloud Engineer at IBM, also known as a Technology Engineer, you will be part of the Client Engineering team. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams including Architects, Data Scientists, Designers, Developers, and Business Strategists to co-create innovative solutions for clients' complex business challenges. 
Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Cloud Expertise. Utilize advanced skills across contemporary cloud technologies such as AI, analytics, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), security, networking, and storage. Tailor these skills to meet the specific business requirements of your assigned clients.
2. Value Communication. Define and articulate the unique value propositions of IBM's technology solutions, both from a technical and commercial perspective. Engage with stakeholders to align technical capabilities with strategic business objectives.
3. Technical Leadership. Act as the primary technical point of contact in client engagements, guiding discussions on a wide range of public and hybrid cloud technologies. This includes expertise in platforms like Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks, Kubernetes, and others.
4. Solution Support. Contribute to the design and architecture of solutions, actively participating in the development process during client engagements. Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, scalability, security, and reliability standards.
5. Security and Reliability. Provide strategic advice to integrate robust security and reliability measures into solution architectures, anticipating future needs and scalability requirements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Cloud Proficiency. Demonstrated hands-on experience across a comprehensive range of cloud technologies and platforms.
2. Technical Leadership. Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical solution teams across diverse cloud architectures.
3. Solution Expertise. Deep technical knowledge in a specific cloud-related domain such as Data/Analytics, Data Science, Security, or other cloud-native technologies.
4. Client Relationship Building. Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with clients at various organizational levels, focusing on delivering value and fostering long-term partnerships.
5. Agile Proficiency. Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness in delivering solutions.

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

1. Cloud Platform Expertise. Experience in architecting, deploying, and managing solutions on major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud.
2. Solution Architecture. Previous experience as a Solution Architect or consultant specializing in IT/Public Cloud environments.
