Position. Java & Big Data Developer (Application migration from Hadoop to AWS)
Location. Noida/Chennai
Shifts. Night (US Shifts), 5 days' work from the office

Job Responsibilities
- Experience. 10+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3+ years in core design and development using Java/J2ee technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Java 8, including Lambda Expressions, and Functional Interface.
- Expertise in Spring, Sprint Boot, and either Microservices OR Apache Camel, Spring Batch.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in writing clean, readable Java code following good coding practices.
- Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns.
- Practical experience in API design and creation using Spring Boot microservices.
- Knowledge of API security standards.
- Practical experience in integrating with/consuming RESTful & SOAP APIs.
- Practical knowledge of writing SQL queries.
- Experience in interacting with database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL.
- Unit testing using JUnit, EasyMock, and Mockito.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as SOAP UI/Postman for functional testing.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git/Bitbucket and branching strategies.
- Good experience in AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, OpenSearch, Neptune, etc.
Big Data Frameworks
- Experience with big data frameworks, including Hadoop, Spark, Scala, etc.
Scripting and DevOps
- Experience with bash, and shell commands.
- Familiarity with/Understanding of principles of Continuous Delivery, DevOps.
Project Management
- Ability to understand and ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are met.
- Proactive in task management and meeting deadlines.
- Good understanding of Agile project management and delivery (a plus).
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
