We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence (BI) Lead with over 10 years of experience in analytics or BI roles, who excels at data-driven decision making and managing high-performing BI teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading data strategy, building scalable BI solutions, and driving actionable insights across the organization. This role requires expertise in data modeling, dashboarding, ETL, and strong leadership skills to guide the BI team and collaborate with data engineers, business stakeholders, and technical vendors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the BI Team. Manage and mentor a team of BI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in delivering BI solutions.
2. Data Management and Analysis. Oversee large-scale data projects, ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of data management processes.
3. ETL Expertise. Develop and manage robust ETL pipelines for transforming and integrating data from multiple sources. Ensure data quality and streamline processes for better reporting and analysis.
4. Dashboard Development. Create intuitive, user-friendly BI dashboards using tools such as QlikSense, PowerBI, and Tableau, translating complex data into actionable insights.
5. Data Modeling and Architecture. Build and optimize data models that support large-scale data flow within the organization, enabling efficient access to critical business insights.
6. Big Data and Curiosity. Foster a deep understanding of Big Data technologies and collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data processing frameworks.
7. Monitor Data Processes. Leverage tools like Airflow and Grafana for monitoring data workflows, ensuring seamless and efficient processing of business-critical data.
8. Vendor Management. Manage relationships with technical vendors to ensure the seamless integration of external BI and analytics services into the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in analytics or BI roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience leading BI teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to handle large-scale data.
• Expertise in ETL processes and data modeling for scalable data solutions.
• Experience in building and maintaining BI dashboards using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and QlikSense.
• Data process monitoring experience with tools like Airflow and Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a penchant for Big Data and data engineering processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with technical vendors and external service providers is a plus.
• Working experience with data engineering is highly advantageous.
