What You’ll Do

• Utilize Node.js to build robust, high-performance backend systems for our banking applications, ensuring they meet the demands of high-volume financial transactions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that provide seamless integration between various banking systems.
• Java-based Microservices Development:
• Develop and integrate Spring Boot-based microservices to enhance the functionality and scalability of the backend.
• Ensure smooth communication and efficient interaction between Node.js and Spring Boot services, optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Architect backend systems that are secure, scalable, and high-performing, addressing the needs of the banking industry, where reliability and performance are crucial.
• Design systems that can efficiently manage large-scale transactions and data flow, ensuring they remain performant and scalable.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers in an Agile environment to deliver new features and enhancements to our banking solutions.
• Actively contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions to continuously improve the product and team workflow.
• Continuously optimize the backend infrastructure for speed, ensuring low-latency responses and efficient resource usage.
• Adhere to best practices for data security, ensuring compliance with relevant financial industry standards and regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience (5+ years) in backend development with Node.js, with expertise in frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Experience in building and integrating Java-based microservices with Spring Boot, especially in high-transaction systems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases (both SQL and NoSQL like MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools such as Docker for deploying and scaling backend services.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment and familiar with tools like JIRA or Trello to manage tasks and sprints efficiently.

Desired Experience

• Experience working in the banking, fintech, or high-volume transaction systems industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, secure, and performant systems that can handle complex business requirements.
