We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Middle Automation Tester with expertise in .NET to join our growing remote team. As part of this role, you will be integral to ensuring the quality and robustness of cloud-based applications. You will work on test automation, integration, and regression testing, ensuring that our client’s products meet the highest standards. This position requires a passion for coding and problem-solving, as well as the ability to collaborate with global teams to deliver top-notch solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automated Testing and Pipeline Integration. You will be responsible for integrating automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline and performing automated regression testing, including Echo tests. Your work will focus on the seamless integration of testing tools to ensure the robustness of cloud-based applications.
2. Test Strategy, Planning, and Execution. Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, as well as write and execute test scripts for automation, functional testing, and integration testing. You will ensure that all aspects of the product are covered by automated tests, enabling smooth and continuous product development cycles.
3. Collaboration and Issue Resolution. Collaborate closely with developers to execute test scripts and log test results from pipelines. You will play a key role in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving testing issues in a timely manner to avoid delays in project delivery.
4. Code Reviews and Bug Fixing. As part of your role, you will review code for automation tests, ensuring quality and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing small bugs directly in the code, providing ongoing support for product stability.
5. Continuous Learning and Knowledge Sharing. Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in test automation, .NET development, and cloud applications. Share knowledge and best practices with your team to foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

1. Experience in Test Automation (2+ years). You should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience as an automation tester in .NET, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and automated testing principles.
2. Strong .NET Development Skills. You will need strong experience in .NET development, as this will be the core technology you work with for automation. Your understanding of .NET frameworks will be essential for developing effective test automation strategies.
3. Testing Frameworks (NUnit, nSubstitute, or similar). Proficiency in NUnit, nSubstitute, or other unit testing and mocking technologies is a must. You will be responsible for writing unit tests, automating test scripts, and mocking dependencies to ensure high-quality code.
4. Pipeline Automation Framework Knowledge. You should have a willingness to learn about the pipeline automation framework built for .NET apps. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integration tools will be an advantage as you work on automating the testing and deployment pipelines.
5. Database Experience (MongoDB or NoSQL). Experience with MongoDB or any other No-SQL databases is required, as you will be involved in automating tests for backend systems that interact with databases.
6. Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills. Good communication is crucial in this role. You will need to work effectively with global teams, exchange feedback with developers, and ensure that testing processes run smoothly across all stages of the development lifecycle.
7. Critical Thinking and Attention to Detail. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to coding best practices are essential. You will need to apply critical thinking to improve test automation processes, as well as to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
8. Knowledge of Leading Automation Tools. Experience with leading test automation tools and frameworks will be highly beneficial. You will apply these tools in a variety of ways, ensuring that tests are automated and executed consistently.
